Hemisqualane is a light emollient made from plant sugars that is fast-absorbing and moisturizing without the heaviness and greasiness of traditional plant oils. It is similar to squalane but has a lower molecular weight, making it non-greasy. It is available in various sizes and has multiple uses, including as a facial oil, makeup remover, and hair care alternative to silicones.
